It will please some of you to know that I finally got my hands dirty. I recently joined the Greenpop team at their Eco-Education Hub in Woodstock to volunteer for a few hours. Naturally, this media invite to experience a helicopter flight was welcomed with excitement and fear. 2018 was a year of many firsts, and I wanted to end it on a high note (no pun intended). There’s no doubt that the flight with Cape Town Helicopters was one of the highlights of my year and I faced my fear of heights.
