The meditation session is about 16 – 22 minutes. Oprah gives the introduction and Deepak takes us into the meditation session. I have to be honest, when I started meditating last year, I could not sit still for 2 minutes without becoming distracted. Now I wouldn’t say I’m a pro, but meditation has been rewarding for me. Especially as an introvert, with an over active thinking process, it helps me to center my thoughts, be at peace, manage my stress levels but most importantly, relax and breathe. It also helps to turn negative thoughts into positive ones.

This is a profound spiritual experience that you can enjoy throughout the day.

Here are two tips to make your meditation experience pleasant:

  • Create your own sanctuary or sacred space. It can be the little corner on the floor in the your bedroom.
  • Make sure you are not interrupted whilst meditating. Create a sign on the door “meditation in process” or inform your family, friends or partner.
