My favourite items from Mungo & Jemima

Hello lovelies!

Hope you are enjoying Summer thus far. I’ve selected a few of my favourite items from Mungo and Jemima in Long Street. All the featured items are made in South Africa (YAY). I am a firm believe in supporting local artisans and designers. The items I chose are ideal for women with curves.

The first item I selected is the buttoned down skirt from Selfi in navy. This was my  utmost favourite item. I paired it with a white crop top and gold and navy neck piece from Pichulik. You can either wear a crop top or tuck a t-shirt into the skirt . This beautiful skirt  needs a form fitting top otherwise you cannot see the shape of your skirt. The skirt is very light and versatile, which is ideal for Summer. I love the white buttons on the skirt.

The second item I selected is the black and white stripped chiffon dress from Good Clothing. I paired it with these yellow shoes for a pop of colour. This dress is beautiful, light and ideal for women with curves.

Finally, I chose this pleated skirt in white from Coppelia and paired it with the black and white strap top from Good Clothing. Pleated skirts are so versatile, you can pair them with heels for a sophisticated look or with sneakers for a casual look. I created a more formal look with red heels and lipstick. I love the fluidity of this skirt, it can be dressed up or down.

These beautiful and unique neck pieces are from Pichulik. Pichulik is one of my favourite jewellry designers from Cape Town. She is talented and her pieces are exquisite. These neck pieces will make an ordinary outfit extraordinary.
