Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner

Quick grow shampoo and conditioner

The folks from Retail box was very kind to send me the #RBsecretbox filled with the Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner to review. This little box is filled with big surprises of premium professional hair and beauty care products. Secret Box contains a secret selection of premium products from leading beauty and hair care companies, the products will be deluxe travel sizes to full size products (if they add a sample it will not be added to the value of the box). #RBsecretbox will be for specific skin and hair types and colours, to ensure the #RBsecretbox contains the best secret product selection perfect for that skin and hair type.

I’ve ordered a few #RBsecretbox’s in the past. Its an exciting opportunity to discover new premium products that you wouldn’t necessarily buy in a salon or pharmacy. Each #RBsecretbox is priced accordingly and their price ranges from R190 – R299 (excluding delivery cost, orders over R500 include free delivery within South Africa). You can have them delivered to a few hair salons in Cape Town for free. It means you have to collect the box at the salon. Retail box also has a range of professional hair and beauty products online. When any #RBsecretbox launches, you have to be on the website, ready to order as it sells out very quickly. There have been many instances when I wanted a box and they were sold out within hours.

Quick grow shampoo and conditioner

When Retail Box asked me to take part in this campaign, I did not know we were going to receive the Quick Grow products. When my parcel arrived and I opened the box, I was very excited to review these products as my hair grows so slowly. I should probably trim it more often, but even when I do trim it regularly, the growth of my hair is still slow.

I’ve been using my Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner for two weeks now. Thus far, I am very happy with the results. Although I haven’t really seen any growth yet, the texture of my hair has improved. Currently I am using the shampoo and conditioner twice a week. I have very curly hair, that needs moisture to hold my curls and prevent them from becoming dry.

The texture of the Quick Grow shampoo is quite thick. Initially, I struggled with the nozzle and could not get the shampoo out. Now I’ve gotten the hang of it and the shampoo flows out the nozzle much easier. The shampoo and conditioner are free from sulfates and sodium chloride (YAY!). I’ve used shampoos in the past that are free from sulfate and it didn’t lather my hair at all. Quick Grow shampoo gives my hair a lovely rich lather, and cleans it after 2 washes, leaving my hair feeling light and clean.

I particularly enjoy the smell of the Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner. It has this subtle candy scent which smells divine! You almost want to eat it. Even the outside of the bottle has a sweet scent. The packaging is funky. It looks different to my other shampoo and conditioners and I have to say, the quality of the bottle is very good. It doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel.

Quick Grow conditioner is divine and an absolute treat for my hair. Not only do I love the smell, but the texture is much lighter than the shampoo and it moisturises my hair. Even though I have a thick bush of curls, my hair does fall out a lot, especially after I condition it. I’ve noticed that my hair has fallen out a lot less than it usually does. Moisturising my hair is essential, as I dislike dry and unhealthy curls. Any girl with curly hair understands the importance of styling and washing your hair daily. Which is a risky in Winter, as you do not want to catch a cold every week. I am using my Quick Grow products twice a week, the best part, after 3 days of not washing or putting products on my hair, my curls still look healthy. Girlllllllll, I’m rocking my curls! Now that’s a decent conditioner!

I will be updating this blog post to let you know if my hair has grown. You can subscribe to my blog in order to ensure that you stay updated.

Update on the Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner

My Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner is finally finished and I am happy with the results. Since I started using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair has grown by approximately 6cms. I’ve trimmed my hair 4 times since July and my hair has still grown. I LOVE this products and will definitely purchase it again. As stated previously, I was offered the Quick Grow capsules which assist in your hair growth but I declined it. With the help of the capsules the hair growth is much faster and you’ll see more dramatic results. I am happy with the results from the Quick Grow shampoo and conditioner only. My hair is healthy and the hair loss when washing it has reduced dramatically.
