Winter Ready Coats From Superbalist

Winter Ready Coats From Superbalist

Guys, it’s that time of the year to start packing out or purchasing coats and jackets for Autumn/Winter. Winter is my favourite season of the year. Not only because my birthday is fast approaching, but I’m utterly obsessed with the cold weather. It allows me to wear boots, jackets, gloves whilst indulging coffee, stews, and soup. There’s something about the cold breeze against my skin that makes me feel alive. I’ve teamed up with the lovely folks from Superbalist, showing you my favourite jackets and coats for the cold season ahead. Here are my 5 favourite picks from their latest range.

Molina oversized blazer

Here’s the thing about blazers: they don’t have to be paired with the same coloured pants. I particularly love the versatility of this Molina oversized blazer from Superbalist. Pair it with a white t-shirt, to complement the pink colour, a light pants/jeans and you’re good to go! If you’re going for a casual look, a flat pair of shoes or sneakers work well with the ensemble. For a night out, add a pair of nude coloured heels. This investment piece can be styled with so many items in your closet, transforming a normal look into a sophisticated and chic look!

Serena parka

The jacket every woman need in her closet! When the cold front hits, not only will you be warm, but stylish too! The parka jacket is an essential item that you can grab during Autumn/Winter when visiting the grocery store or when you walking in the forest. The faux-fur hood adds a touch of elegance (without being over-the-top). Skinny jeans or tights with sneakers works really well with the parka jacket. Who says you can’t be stylish whilst on the run? Go on and slay girl!

Camille wool coat

A traditional Winter closet usually consists of dark and neutral shades but I want to challenge you to add a pop of colour to your closet! Now, before you think I’m going insane, adding bright colours can help you beat the Winter blues. And why not do it in style? I would style this coat with knee-high boots and black tights because I’d want all the attention drawn to the coat. I am crazy for details and absolutely love the pattern inside the coat. This red Camille coat gives me ALL the feels!

Floral print satin duster jacket

These days I prefer purchasing classic items that I can wear for many seasons to come, but I am willing to make the exception for this trendy floral print satin jacket. Whilst we are still enjoying (relatively) warm days, this satin jacket is best paired with a high-waisted culotte and a pair of heels for a stylish look! You can do no wrong with a floral satin jacket.

Tia oversized denim jacket

You may have seen an oversized denim jacket all over my Instagram feed, I’m crazy for them! Not only is it a lifetime investment, but you can wear them throughout the year with any item of clothing. It’s versatile and allows you to create various street style looks, but you can also make it chic and stylish. Style your oversized jacket with a boyfriend jeans, a nude coloured pencil skirt or wear it over a dress. There’s a saying that goes, “a girl can never own enough denim!” and I fully agree!

So that’s it –those are my favourite jackets and coats from Superbalist. Did you know, you can get R250 off your first purchase when ordering off the Superbalist APP (link to Android APP here and iOS APP here), provided that you spend a minimum of R600.

What’s your favourite jacket or coat?

Love and light,

Megan
